Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To raise the intake-air charging efficiency while keeping uniform distribution of fuel, by providing an intake-air cooling means on the downstream side of the portion of an intake manifold where a plurality of branch passages are branched, and cooling air-fuel mixture by said intake-air cooling means after the air-fuel mixture is distributed uniformly into the branch passages. CONSTITUTION:Intake-air drawn from an air cleaner 5 to an intake manifold 2 is mixed with fuel in a carburetor 4 and forms air-fuel mixture. The air-fuel mixture is heated and vaporized by a heating means 11 and then distributed uniformly into a plurality of branch passages 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D. Further, the mixture is cooled by cooling water in an intake-air cooling water jacket 21 before it is drawn into an intake port 25 of an engine 1.
