ABACUS WITH ELECTRONIC COMPUTER

PURPOSE:To use effectively both functions of an abacus and an electric computer by displaying an input obtained by the abacus and at the same time calculating electronically each input numerical value by means of the abacus and a key operation part. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply switch and a clear key 9 are operated, the numerical value shown at each digit of an abacus 2 is displayed at a diaplay part 4 and also stored temporarily to a latch circuit. Under such conditions, beads 10 and beads 11 are operated. Thus the numerical value shown by the abacus 2 is displayed again to the part 4 and also stored temporarily to the latch circuit. Then either one of operation key 8 is operated and the numerical value is inputted through a key operation part 5. Then the key 8 is operated again. As a result, the arithmetic result of the numerical value obtained by the abacus 2 and stored to the latch circuit and the numerical value fed from the part 5 is stored to an arithmetic memory part and also displayed at the part 4.
