STEAM-AIR SEPARATOR

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of stress due to difference of elongation of corrugated plates to the elongation of a vessel main body by forming a passage of steam and boring holes restricting no dimensional change in the longitudinal direction of the vessel formed by the corrugated plate on a separating plate in the vessel forming both side walls of the corrugated plate. CONSTITUTION:Steam of high wetness introduced from an inlet pipe 2 is passed through a space between plural numbers of corrugated plates 4 housed in a supporting frame 3 arranged in two rows forming V shaped arrangement, to remove the moisture therein. The supporting frame 3 having the corrugated plates 4 is arranged between a supporting plate 10 above a drain receiver 6 and the vessel 1. Holes having a shape corresponding to the shape of the supporting frame 3 are bored on a separating plate 9 forming the steam passage and supporting simultaneously the supporting plate 10 at its both ends, and the supporting plate 10 is fitted to the holes, thus constructing a structure not restricting deformation caused by the difference of elongation of the corrugated plate 4 in the longitudinal of the vessel.
