PRODUCTION OF MULTICOLOR SOLID POWDER COSMETIC

PURPOSE:A vessel is partitioned in a desired letter or pattern, the slurry from a solvent and powder cosmetics which differs in color is placed in every partition, then they are subjected to compression molding, the partition frames are removed and the product is dried to give the titled cosmetic. CONSTITUTION:Frames are used to partition the inside of the vessel in a desired letter or pattern and every partition is filled with slurry different in color, made of a solvent and powder cosmetic. Then, the slurry in the vessel is compressed, the frames are removed and drying is effected to give the objective multicolor powder stick cosmetic having parts differing in color, shade and luster. As the solvent, is mentioned ethanol, isopropanol, low-boiling hydrocarbons, low-boiling silicone oil, low-boiling cyclic silicone or water. When these solvents are mixed with the powder cosmetics to form slurry, the colors are not mixed on feeding. Further, it is more efficient, if sponge, paper or cloth is inserted between the mold head and the slurry in order to absorb the solvent on compression.
