Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent floating up of a weather strip at a corner part and to improve watertightness, by a method wherein the step plane part of a step flange at a corner part is projected further outwardly toward the window open side than other portions. CONSTITUTION:A step flange 3 of a window open edge part 2 has a shape in cross section which differs between a corner part 2c and a rectilinear part 2a of the window open edge part 2. An end B' on the room side of a step front part 3a of the step plange 2 is formed so as to have a high radius R2' of curvature so that it is positioned in more close to the end face of a window panel 5 then that of the rectilinear pat 2a. A forward end C' of a step plane part 3b is formed so as to have a high radius of curvature R3' so that it is projected further toward the window open side than that of the rectilinear part 2a. A peripheral end D' of a window panel at the corner part 2c is formed so as to have a low radius of curvature R4' so that it is located in more close to the step front part 3a than that of the rectilinear part 2a.
