SHAPE EXAMINING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To discriminate easily a slight difference of shape by compounding the image of a standard shape object and that of an object to be examined so that they coincide with each other approximately. CONSTITUTION:A part to be examined of a standard shape object 1 is lined with a fluorescent paint, and the inside of a storage box 2 is illuminated by an illuminating device 4 which emits ultraviolet rays but does not emit visible rays. The storage box 2 and a television camera 5 for the standard shape object are shut off from external visible rays. Since a camera for visible rays is used as the television camera 5, only the outline of the image where ultraviolet rays are converted to visible rays by the fluorescent paint is picked up. An object 10 to be examined is provided in front of a television camera 6 for the object to be examined, and its image is processed by a controller 7 and is outputted onto a monitor television 8. A window 11 attached to the storage box 2 where the standard shape object 1 is stored is provided in front of the camera 5, and the image of this object 1 is compounded with the image of the object to be examined by an image compounding machine in the controller 7, and the compounded image is outputted onto the monitor television 8.
