METHOD FOR REMOVING SCALE IN SLEEVE OF COKE OVEN CHARGING CART

PURPOSE:To spray water to wash and cool the interior of sleeves of a charging cart and remove the titled scales with ease, by providing drainage pits and spray nozzles at positions corresponding to the respective sleeves of the charging cart on the oven between the coke oven end chamber and a coal bin. CONSTITUTION:Opened drainage pits 14 and water spray nozzles 13 thereon are provided at positions at least corresponding to the respective sleeves 8 of a charging cart 2 on a coke oven 1 between the coke oven end chamber 3 and a coal bin 5. The charging cart 2 after completing the charging of raw material coal into a carbonization chamber of the coke oven 1 is moved to the direction of the coal bin 5 for coal supply, and stopped above the drainage pits 14 of a water washing part 4. A hood 9 is then lowered to lower the sleeves 8 supported by connecting levers 15. A valve 11 is then opened to jet pressurized water from the spray nozzles 13 to wash and cool the inner surface of the sleeves 8 and remove scales in the sleeves 8.
