PAPER-DISCHARGING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a paper-discharging device enhanced in stability and accuracy in supplying and discharging a slip paper and enhanced in operability, by a method wherein a press plate capable of being brought into contact with and separated from the outer peripheral surface of a paper-discharging roll is provided, and only when discharging a paper, the plate is pressed against the roll to discharge the paper therebetween. CONSTITUTION:In the paper-discharging roll 11 which receives the slip paper P fed out between a platen 1 and an upper roll 4 pressed against the platen 1 and stacks the paper P on a paper-discharging shelf 8, the press plate 17 capable of being brought into contact with and separated from the outer peripheral surface of the roll 11 is provided. A plunger 26 for a solenoid 25 is connected to a shaft 18 for the plate 17 through a lever 19, a connecting rod 20 and a lever 22. When an end part of the paper P is detected by a detecting member 10 provided at the outer periphery of the platen 1, the solenoid 25 is operated to press the plate 17 against the roll 11 to promote discharging of the slip paper clamped therebetween. A DC motor rotating continuously can be used as a drive source 16 for driving the roll 11 to rotate, and the device can be made to be inexpensive.
