GETTER SUPPORT FOR ELECTRON GUN

PURPOSE:To easily convert the aligning feed work of a getter support at welding that required a great amount of man-hour in the past to an automatic supply and improve the assembly work efficiency and reliability of an electron gun by providing a protrusion or a raised notch that forms alignment and aligning feed standards. CONSTITUTION:A getter support 8 has raised notches 8a and 8b on its tip surface that forms a getter welding section on the front and rear in the plate thickness direction by press molding, etc. In addition, an aligning feed groove 11 conforming to the circular curvature of the getter support 8 is provided between a pair of aligning feed guides 9 and 10. For work alignment, for example, by spirally arranging the opposed aligning feed guides 9 and 10 in an electromagnetic feeder through this aligning feed groove 11, the main body of the work falls in the above groove 11 during the movement of the work, the raised notches 8a and 8b are hooked by guides 9 and 10 on both sides, the work is retained, and a series of the aligned getter supports 8 can be obtained.
