ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE WITH PRESSURE SENSOR

PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure not only an absolute altitude and the absolute depth of water but also a relative altitude and the relative depth of water and to enable use as an atmospheric pressure meter, by using a readable memory circuit and a freely writable and readable memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:The standard atmospheric pressure at 0m above sea level of a readable memory circuit 7 is written in a freely readable memory citcuit 8. An absolute altitude is calculated by differential operation of the content of said circuit 8 and atmospheric pressure through a pressure sensor 1 and a count circuit 6 and displayed by a display part 15. On the ohter hand, when the content of the circuit 6 is written in the circuit 8 and set to a reference value, a relative altitude is similarily measured. The depth of water is also similarily measured and the measurement of atmospheric pressure is also similarily performed. By these mechanisms, an electronic timepiece with a pressure sensor functions not only as an absolute altitude and water-depth meter but also a relative altitude and water-depth meter of an atmospheric pressure meter.
