Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled resin having improved impact resistance and surface gloss efficiently without requiring complicated operations, by using a reactor of a specific stirring tank equipped with an outer circulating line, processing a rubber phase containing rubber-like polymer into particles under limited conditions. CONSTITUTION:In preparing the titled resin by converting rubber phase containing a rubber-like polymer into dispersed particles using a reactor of stirring tank type having the stirring blade 5 in the inside and a circulating line for a liquid in the reactor on the outside, (A) the stirring blade 5 is rotated in such a way that average number of circulation of the fluid in the reactor measured by closing the outer circulating line is 10 times/hour, (B) the outer circulating line is provided with the pump 3, the raw material feed opening 2, the stationary blender 6, and the line mixer 7 from the side of the upper stream, and the operations are carried out in such a way that (C) the flow rate F1(l/h) of fluid discharged to the outer circulating line and the flow rate F2(l/h) of raw material feed satisfy the relationship shown by the formula I , and (D) the ratio X1wt% of the rubber-like polymer in the reaction and the total amount X2wt% of monomer converted to the polymer satisfy the formula II and the formula III, respectively, to give the desired resin.
