Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a Co-base heat resistant alloy which is particularly highly resistant to erosion by molten glass and provides excellent performance for a long period of time when used as a spinner for forming a glass fiber by incorporating C, Si, Cr, Ni, Hf and W or/Mo respectively at prescribed ratios into said alloy. CONSTITUTION:A Co-base heat resistant alloy contains, by weight, 0.1-1% C, 0.1-2% Si, 25.5-40% Cr, 5-15% Ni, 2-12% W and/or Mo and 0.5-5% Hf and consists of the balance Co and unavoidable impurities. The alloy characteristics are not affected at all even if the alloy contains up to 3% Fe in particular among the above-described impurities and threfore the Fe is positively incorporated in the range up to 3% in some case by taking economy into consideration. The above-mentioned Co-base heat resistant alloy has high temp. strength and resistance to high temp. oxidation in addition to the above-described characteristics. |
