MACHINING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To carry out the change of setup automatically and efficiently by arranging in such a way that an operator may merely carry out the mounting and removing of workpieces on stockers and directions on machining, in a machining device which conveys said workpieces and automatically carries out a setup and the change of setup. CONSTITUTION:A machining device, which has a workpiece transferring device 100, takes up workpieces one at a time from a stocker 4A in order by means of the work hand 33 of a setup device 200, and mount each of them onto pallets 9A, 9B on workpiece delivering devices 300A, 300B respectively by means of fixture mounting and removing devices 400A, 400B, repeating connection and removal of each of the workpieces to and from a machine 600 by means of a loading device 500. And, since a series of machining for one or two processes can be carried out without operator by merely piling up workpieces to be machined by the machine 600 on stockers 4A to 4G, it is possible to provide an unmanned system for a various-kind and small-quantity production installation, to shorten the machining cycle in particular, and to efficiently carry out the change of setup.
