CONTROL OF DOWNFLOW LIQUID MEMBRANE TYPE EVAPORATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust the capacity of concn. treatment, in concentrating two kinds of treating liquids by evaporating moisture thereof under heating in the main body of an evaporation pipe respectively having separate evaporation chambers. CONSTITUTION:Solution A such as a glucose solution is introduced into an A-chamber 1A from the treating liquid supply pipe 8A of an evaporation boiler main body 1. Said solution A is pumped up to the upper part of a heat exchange part 4A by a recirculation pump 3A and heated by heated steam from a steam header 7 while flows down along the heat transfer surface of the heat exchanger 4A to evaporate water therein and concentrated to a predetermined concn. to be taken out from a discharge pipe 9A. Evaporated steam is sent to a blower 2 and heated under compression therein to be again sent to the heat exchange part 4A where used in heating the solution A as heated steam. Condensed water generated by heat exchange is stored in the bottom of the heat exchanger 4A to reduce the heat transfer area. Similar treatment is applied to a solution B and the heat transfer area is adjusted by the adjustment of the water levels of condensed waters of both liquids A, B to enable the free control of the concn. degrees of both liquids A, B.
