STOP WATCH

PURPOSE:To make it possible to accurately measure a time required in a competition needing preparatory operation by a competitor oneself, by starting stop watch counting after a definite time is elapsed from a time when a button is pushed. CONSTITUTION:When a competitor oneself mounts an apparatus and pushes a button SW1 at the point of time entering start preparedness, a control circuit 5 is turned ON by the output of a switch control circuit 4 and a notice counter 6 is operated. By this operation, signals are outputted from a control circuit 7 at every one sec and sound is generated from a sound generator 11 and, at the same time when a final notice sound is finished, the output of the control circuit 7 is stopped by the output of a counter 6a. In the next step, when a pulse is outputted from the counter 6a, a counter 6b outputs a signal and start sound is generated from the sound generator 11 by the signal from a sound forming circuit 9 and the competitor makes a start. At the same time, an 1/100sec pulse from a circuit 3 is inputted to a counter 13 by the output of a control circuit 12 to start counting. When SW2 is pushed simultaneously with a finish, the content of the counter 13 is displayed by a liquid crystal display body 16.
