IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make an electronic printer, printing machine, facsimile equipment, etc., easy to use, and improve their practicability by replacing originals or image-formed forms from forward order to backward order or vice versa through simple operation. CONSTITUTION:Originals to be rearranged in the revers order are set on a tray 33, and an ADF key 63 is only pressed to change the order of the originals. Therefore, a user uses the device easily and the device is extremely convenient and practical. A belt 40 stops during order replacing operation once the original finishes passing through a resist roller 37, so the rotation time of the belt 40 is shorter than in normal operation when the originals are smaller than the size the platen. Further, the originals need not stop terporarily for copying operation, so the time is shrotened. Consequently, even when the conveyance speed is as fast as in the normal operation, the processing speed of originals per unit time is much faster than in the normal operation. Thus, the originals or image-formed forms are rearanged easily and conveniently from the forward order to the reverse order or vice versa, and the effect of image formation is improved.
