Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a photographer with the convenience of operation and to meet the intention of framing by storing plural programs for obtaining proper exposure, and selecting them optionally. CONSTITUTION:A changeover lever 17 is operated to a position P-1 or P-2 to select an optional program for automatic exposure stored in a camera body 11. When a program P-1, i.e. a program giving priority to fast-shutter-speed is selected, only a shutter speed varies at open aperture for a subject which is darker than an EV7 exposure index at the time of the use of an F1.4 lens, and an aperture and the shutter speed both vary continuously from F1.4 and 1/60sec to F16 and 1/1,000sec for a subject which is brighter than EV7. When a program P-2, i.e. a program giving priority to depth-of-field based upon aperture effect is selected, the aperture and shutter speed vary continuously from F1.4 and 1/8sec to F16 and 1/1,000sec for a subject which is brighter than EV4.
