Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent malfunctioning of an oil-level detecting apparatus, by selecting the angular position of the polarity of a rotor of a generator connected to one end of a crankshaft and the setting position of an igniting magnet buried in a flywheel at a portion of its circumference to satisfy a particular relationship to the oil-level detector. CONSTITUTION:In a crankcase which supports a crankshaft 4 having a flywheel 9 fixed to one end thereof, a detector 22 consisting of a reed switch 21 and a ring-shaped float 19 having magnets 20 buried therein is disposed in an oil sump downwardly of the crankshaft 4. Here, the angular position of the polarity of a rotor 12 of a generator disposed at the other end of the crankshaft 4 and the setting position of a magnet 23 for an igniting unit that is buried in the flywheel 9 at a portion of its circumference are so selected that the magnetic force of the rotor 12 and that of the magnet 23 are acted to cancel with each other at the position of the reed switch 21. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to ensure operation of the reed switch 21 by the float 19. |
