2-PHASE BRUSHLESS MOTOR

PURPOSE:To enable to correspond to many types by dividing salient poles of a stator armature, on which coils are wound, into two segments in circumferential direction, thereby providing universality in a core. CONSTITUTION:An armature 11 of a stator is radially projected from a core 12, integrally formed with the core 12, and four salient-poles 13A-12D for forming the prescribed air gaps are, for example, provided between the inner peripheral pole faces of a magnet 10. When observing the circular portion 13A2, a hole 15A is opened substantially at the center of a coupler 14A2 to reduce the sectional area of the coupler 14A2, i.e., the sectional area of a magnetic path. Thus, the coupler 14A2 can be readily magnetically saturated as compared with the coupler 14A1. In this manner, the quentity of magnetic energy can be readily varied to provide universality in the core.
