DOOR WEATHER STRIP

PURPOSE:To secure sealing property for a long period of time and reduce grating sound, by a method wherein outer and inner seal lips are projected from a fitting base part of a door weather strip, and a support projection is projected from an intermediate part of the inner seal lip. CONSTITUTION:A door glass 11 is guided upward and downward by a door sash 14 through a glass run 13. To the outer peripheral surface of a door sash 14, the door weather strip 15 is fitted through the fitting base part 15A thereof. The outer and inner seal lips 15B, 15C for sealing the interior 16 and the exterior 17 of the vehicle to each other by making contact with a peripheral edge part of a door opening when the door is closed are projected from the base part 15A. The support projection 15D is integrally projected from an intermediate part of the inner seal lip 15C, and the tip 15D1 thereof is brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface 14C of the door sash 14. Accordingly, the sealing property is secured for a long period of time, and the grating sound at the time of closing the door can be reduced.
