Zusammenfassung:beta -carbolin-3-carboxylic acid derivatives of the general formula wherein R is methyl, ethyl, n-propyl or iso-propyl, and wherein R is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, n-propyl or iso-propyl, provided that R is not methyl, when R is hydrogen, are produced by different methods. The compounds are useful in psychopharmaceutical preparations being antagonists of benzodiazepines.
