Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To infer some causes and output only a necessary message to a terminal out of the inferred causes by selecting an output message on the basis of transmission history information between a program executed in the past and the terminal. CONSTITUTION:A monitor program 203 monitors the transmission information between the execution program 202 and an I/O control program 201 of the terminal and stores the monitored result in a history collecting system 204. Consequently, a message required by a terminal user is selected from a data set in a message file 105 designated by an output request 206 from the execution program 202 on the basis of a selection program 205 and outputs the selected message to the terminal. The studied result of the operation history in the terminal by the monitor program 203 is used for the selection of the output message. Thus, the selection of the output message based on the transmission history information makes it possible to infer some causes and output only a necessary message out of the causes to the terminal.
