Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase the degree of resolution by representing the picture on the entire effective screen of a TV monitor, through the provision of the scanning unit of a TV camera which changes the size for every mode according to various split pickup or tomography. CONSTITUTION:When the operator selects a tomogram mode, switches 23a, 24a, 25a, 26a in a scanning unit 13 are closed, a horizontal deflection circuit 21A and a vertical deflection circuit 22A are selected and the scanning of the size, e.g., 12X 10mm. is made at a pickup tube 11. In this case, the video signal is input to a gate circuit 17 via a preamplifier 16. Further, when the operator selects the 2 split switch, for example, switches 23b, 24b, 25b, 26b in the unit 13 are closed, a horizontal deflection circuit 21B and a vertical deflection circuit 22B are selected, and the scanning of 9X7.5mm. size corresponding to the 2nd split is made at a pickup tube.
