WORKING DEVICE FOR STEEL PIPE TYPE SHEET PILE

PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency and accuracy of working by making the positioning gauge of a frame correspondent to the entire steel pipe type sheet pile by the movement of a stand and the frame thereby enabling positioning. CONSTITUTION:A rail 2 is installed on an inside working floor G with respect to a track-shaped steel pipe type sheet pile well L in such a way as to be positioned at the center between both straight parts l1 and l1 of the well L. An auxiliary rail 3 and reinforcing bar 3' are installed thereto if necessary. A device body M having main wheels 5, 5 in the adjusted positions is set on the rails 2, 3 and the sheet piles are worked successively, from the sheet pile at the end of the part l1. More specifically, a working head 15 is so positioned as to face a steel pipe type sheet pile 1 and a stand 4 is fixed to the rail 2 by means of a clamping mechanism 7, then supporting legs 13 are propped to the working floor surface to position the stand. A carriage is then advanced to the object steel pipe 1 and an upper positioning gauge 20 of a frame 14 is pressed to the sheet pile and a horizontal supporting rod is pushed forward by another handle 35 to bring a lower positioning gauge 21 into contact with the steel pipe type sheet pile, thereby adapting both gauges 20, 21 to the normal condition.
