FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To provide a function as a standard facsimile equipment and to attain the connecting function with an information processor and high speed for the facsimile equipment by constituting that an initial switch is installed on a facsimile interface and a conversion adaptor of the facsimile interface is provided. CONSTITUTION:In the standard facsimile opposed communication, an information signal from a facsimile circuit 2 is transmitted to a facsimile MODEM 5 via the facsimile interface 3 by connecting a contact 4a of a switch section 4. In desiring high speed information processing, the information signal from the facsimile circuit 2 is transmitted to an interface converting circuit 6 via the facsimile interface 3 by connecting a contact 4b of the switch section 4. Further, in the reception, a clock supply circuit 7 has clock oscillators of 19.2 kBPS and 600 BPS, both clock signals are fed to the facsimile circuit 2 via the interface conversion circuit 6 and the operation is attained with twice the maximum processing speed.
