WINDSHIELD OF MICROPHONE

PURPOSE:To prevent windshields from being separated from a coupling ring and to remove foreign sound due to the fine vibration of the windshields generated between the windshields and the coupling ring by holding the windshields tightly by the coupling ring itself without using a coupling means using adhesives or the like. CONSTITUTION:In order to fix an upper windshield 2 and a lower windshield 3 with the coupling rink 4, respective windshields 2, 3 are fitted with the annular grooves 5a, 5b of the coupling ring 4 respectively and a windshield 1 consisting of a coupling body of the windshields 2, 3 and the coupling ring 4 covers over a roller 13. In this case, the position of a doubling plate 15 to an arm 14 is adjusted so that the roller 13 is rightly contacted with the inner ring of the coupling ring 4. Subsequently, the curved part 16a of a pressing member 16 is pressed against the head part of the windshield 1 with proper pressure. Finally, a pressure roller 19 is pressed against the external ring 4b of the coupling ring 4 with proper pressure deforming both the ends of the inner ring 4a sufficiently and the inner ring 4a is plastically deformed by rotating the roller 13 to unite the upper and lower windshields 2, 3 with the coupling ring 4.
