EXAMPLE:2-Phenylimidazole-allantoin addition product shown by the formula II. USE:A one-pack type curing agent for epoxy resin. Improving extermely pot life of epoxy resin at room temperature, starting curing reaction quickly by heating at 90-150 deg.C. PROCESS:An imidazole compound shown by the formula III is reacted with an equimolar or less allantoin in a solvent, preferably water under normal pressure at 100 deg.C for 1 hour, to give a compound shown by the formulaI.
