Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the 2CR material for welded can good in flange workability at low cost, by a method wherein after hot-finish-rolling and winding the steel of a specific composition under specified conditions, it is cold-rolled and further, processed with recrystallization annealing and cold rolling. CONSTITUTION:The steel containing, by weight, 0.13% max. C, 0.60% max. Mn, 0.10% max. P, and the remainder consisting of iron and inevitable impure elements is hot-rolled and hot-finish-rolled at a temperature of A3 point min. Then, the hot rolled coil sheet is wound at a temperature of two-phase region of ferrite and austenite or kept soaking and cold-rolled to a thickness of 0.20mm. degree. Further, after processing it with recrystallization annealing within a temperature range of 650-800 deg.C by continuous annealing method, it is cold-rolled by a draft of 15-40%. The steel sheet for welded can having low flange cracking rate can be manufactured thereby and steel grades to be used are not limited.
