Zusammenfassung:	The novel aminosugar derivatives of the formula I, in which n1 = 1 to 8 and n2 = 0 to 8, with the proviso that n1 + n2 = 1 to 8 and that when n1 + n2 = 1 or 2, n2 = 0, are prepared by the aerobic cultivation of a microorganism of the order Actinomycetales and isolation of the resulting products from the culture broths or hydrolysates thereof; low molecular weight representatives of the group can, incidentally, be obtained from higher molecular weight representatives by chemical or enzymic hydrolysis. The derivatives are useful as medicaments, for example against hyperglycaemia, hyperinsinulaemia, hypoglycaemia and caries.
