RECORDING DISK REPRODUCER

PURPOSE:To obtain a disk reproducer of a simple constitution with which a pickup means can be shared by the recording disks of two different shapes, by providing said pickup means so that it can freely move along a line connected between the center shafts of both disks. CONSTITUTION:The 1st turntable 4 holding a video recording disk 7 of the 1st type is set with a distance secured from the 2nd turntable 6 holding a compact recording disk 8 of the 2nd type. In this case, the center shafts of both turntables are set in parallel to each other. Then a pickup 9 which can be shared by both disks 7 and 8 is provided to that it can move freely along a line connected between the center shafts of both turntables.
