OPTICAL FIBER PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To supply electric energy to a circuit difficult of supplying electric energy through a power supply line by constituting the titled device with optical fibers wave-guiding input light, a semiconductor device including a photoelectric conversion element and a voltage stabilizing circuit and a package having an output terminal. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric conversion element 19, the voltage stabilizing circuit 20, wiring parts 25, 26, and output terminals 27, 28 are formed unitedly and integratedly on a GaAs semiconductor substrate. The optical fiber 11, a Selfoc lens 12 and the semiconductor device 14 are arranged by adjusting their axes so that insident light 29 projected from the Selfoc lens 12 is irradiated on the photodetecting surface of the photoelectric conversion element 19 formed in the semiconductor device 14. When the incident light is irradiated to the photoelectric conversion element 19 in the optical fiber photoelectric conversion device 10, a stabilized voltage output is obtained from the output terminals 16, 17. The optical fiber photoelectric conversion device 10 constituted by said procedure can be used as a power supplying means taking out the stabilized voltage output by an optical input and supplying electric power to a device or a circuit difficult of supplying the electric power through a power supply line.
