HIERARCHICAL ELECTRONIC COMPUTER SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce installation space on the whole and also to attain cost reduction by allowing a high-order and a low-order electronic computer system to back up their data files mutually. CONSTITUTION:Respective data gathered from respective data gathering terminals 70 are processed to construct a data file 50, and the processed data are transmitted to the high-order computer system through a transmitting adapter. If one data file 50 is shut down in said state, the data gathered from the data gathering terminal 70 is transmitted to the high-order computer system as it is. At this time, the high-order electronic computer system stores the data in the data files 20 and 60 respectively. Then, the data is transferred to the low-order electronic computer system reversely when the data file 50 in the shutdown state is made reusable.
