Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To interrupt the sound of air suction from a resonator by a method in which a resonator is connected to an air suction duct, and a partition chamber having duct-connecting tubes is integrally formed on the outside of the resonator. CONSTITUTION:During the startup of an engine 1, air sucked from the engine room 7 is taken into a collector 3 through an air suction duct 5. The air suction sound to be generated from the air suction duct 5 is damped by a resonator 11, and at the same time air in a partition chamber 15 is evacuated by the air suction pressure of the engine to increase the degree of vacuum. Resonance sound coming from the resonator 11 can be exactly interrupted by the partition chabmer 15 and also the internal arranging space of the engine can be reduced to a minimum because a vacuum tank is integrally formed for automization of an actuator.
