Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a titled steel foil provided with excellent adhesive properties and strength by forming the surface of a work roll into the roughness within a specific range and dull finishing one or both sides of the surface of a steel foil to the roughness within a specific range thereof in finish rolling a steel foil used for laminating base sheet. CONSTITUTION:A steel foil is finish rolled by forming the surface of one or both of work rolls into the surface roughness of about 1.0-10.0RZ(mum), which is suitable for rolling a steel foil and for adhesive properties for laminating steel foils. Said surface roughness of roll is transferred to a steel foil as it is, and an excellent steel foil is obtained. Further, a work-hardening phenomenon is produced at the finish rolling, and the strength of the foil is almost doubled.
