TONER FOR DRY DEVELOPMENT

PURPOSE:To obtain a toner capable of executing low temp. fixing and having wide temp. range permitting fixing providing satisfactory resistance to offsetting without requiring offsetting-preventing liquid by using a mixture of a specified graft copolymer with a specified crosslinked vinyl copolymer as binder. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin of the toner is a mixture of a graft copolymer obtd. by graft-copolymerizing a crystalline polymer obtd. from at least one among ethylene, propylene, and vinyl acetate with a crosslinked polymer obtd. by copolymerizing a vinyl monomer with a divinyl monomer, wherein the monomer constituting >=50wt% of the branch part of said graft copolymer is common with the monomer constituting >=50wt% of said crosslinked polymer. By using such mixture as binder resin the stability of the reproducibility of image against ambient condition in the stage of development, and stability of the same against the lapse of time, and the fluidity of powder as toner are improved.
