CONNECTING METHOD OF MAGNETIC TAPE

PURPOSE:To connect easily a tape while cut faces are buted completely by overlapping a tape cut end on a ground paper sheet possible for exfoliation, adhering them and cutting the paper, adhering it a common splicing tape and exfoliating the ground paper. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic face of the cut ends 1a, 1b of the tape 1 to be bonded is overlapped parly on the ground paper 2 having an adhered face possible for exfoliation and adhered thereto. Then the tape 1 and the ground paper 2 are cut off once at one-dashed chain lines X-X by scissors. While the ground paper 2 is kept adhered, the cut faces of the edges 1a, 1b are butted and a splicing tape in common to the tape base face is adhered thereto. Then the tape 1 is exfoliated from the ground paper 2 and the projected tape 3 is cut off. Thus, ease of handling for the thin and soft tape edges is attained by using the ground paper 2, and the tapes are connected easily while the cut faces are butted completely without bent.
