Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To electrodeposit a uniform coated film on the whole surface of a gear and to provide excellent corrosion resistance, etc. by rotating an anode in the shape determined by previous calculation in synchronization with a gear as a cathode, and electrodepositing the gear. CONSTITUTION:The current density distribution at each part of a gear 1 as a cathode and at anodes 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d is processed by an electronic computer, and the shape of anodes 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d is determined. The anodes 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d are arranged at every circular angle of 90 deg. around the gear 1 as cathode and meshed with the gear 1, and four masking bodies (hard vinyl chloride plastic, etc.) 3a, 3b, 3c, and 3d are arranged between each anode 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d and brought into contact with the gear 1. The assembly is incorporated into an electrolytic cell. The gear 1 is rotated in the electrolyte, and each anode 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d is rotated in synchronization with the gear. The gear is electrodeposited in this way. Consequently, an electrodeposited coated film is uniformly formed on the whole surface of the gear including the addendum 11, involute part 12, and dedendum 13 of the gear 1. |
