TROUBLE INDICATOR OF AIR CONDITIONER FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To constitute the titled indicator so that no specific space is required for an indication of trouble, by a method wherein the indication of shifting from suspension to operation of an auxiliary engine for air conditioning is done by a static indication from lighting to putting-out light and the indication of abnormality is done by a kinetic indication of flashing. CONSTITUTION:As for a control circuit 3 consisting of a microcomputor, execution of a program is started by turning a key switch 1 ON, a contact point 12A of a main relay 12 is closed, each load 14 is driven and a flasher 4 is lit. Then disconnections or short circuits of series circuits of temperature sensors 6-8 of an indoor, an outdoor and the surface of an evaporator and a sensor 8 and further disconnections of the relay 12 and a fuse 15 are detected, and when there is abnormality, a contact point 13A is opened or closed and the flasher 4 is turned ON or OFF by energizing relay 13 intermittently. In case of no existence of abnormality, when a hydraulic switch 16 is opened through operation due to building-up of hydraulic pressure by an auxiliary engine, the flasher 4 is turned OFF. Structure of the titled indicator can be simplified by using an indication of the abnormality concurrently as the indication of operation and suspension of an auxiliary engine in this manner.
