DECODER OF COMPRESSION CODE

PURPOSE:To detect surely a synchronizing code by providing a line synchronizing code detecting circuit by the number corresponding to the shift amount possible for one shift to a storage circuit storing a compression code including a line synchronizing code. CONSTITUTION:The compression code including a line synchronizing code is stored in a register 103 via a multiplexer 102. Then an EOL detection circuit 112 detects a line synchronizing code and a code/decode logic 104 and a code table ROM105 decode the compression code. After the decoding of compression code, the code is expelled from a register in the lump or one by 1 bit by the number corresponding to the compression code length. The EOL detection circuit 112 shifts the input bit location and is provided by the number corresponding to the number for shift amount possible for simultaneous shift, then the line synchronizing signal is detected surely even if the bit location of the input code is shifted more or less.
