SUBLIMABLE TRANSFER BODY

PURPOSE:To enable the sublimation transfer of the yellow color of the three primary colors having a proper sublimable property and strong tinting strength and excellent in light resistance, by using one or more of coloring matter having a specific structural formula. CONSTITUTION:In a sublimable transfer body according to a sublimable transfer recording system, one or more of coloring matter represented by formula wherein X is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R1 and R2 are respectively independently a 5-8C branched or straight chain alkyl group). The coloring matter represented by the formula is obtained, for example, by a method wherein aromatic amine is formylated by Wurtz-Meyer reaction and the reaction product is subsequently condensed with malonitrile. The sublimable transfer body is prepared by applying the ink containing said coloring matter to a transfer substrate.
