STORAGE DEVICE FOR CLOTHING AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To maintain the interior of a storage compartment at a constant temperature by disposing a heat converter mechanism in an air circulation passage for ventilating air into or out of the storage compartment. CONSTITUTION:The ceiling of a storage compartment 8 has a first ventilating hole 10 for delivering air in a duct 9 into the compartment 8, and the bottom of the storage compartment 8 has a second ventilating hole 11 for expelling air in the storage compartment to the duct 9. Further, a fan 12 and a humidifier 13 are disposed on the upper surface of the ceiling, and by actuating the fan 12, the air is circulated from the bottom of the storage compartment 8 to the duct 9, and from the upper part of the duct 9 to the storage compartment 8, while the circulated air is given a desired humidity by the humidifier 13. The ceiling 5 of the casing 7 has a through hole, in which a heat converting device 14 is disposed. The heat converting mechanism 14 is, for example, a Pertier element, and is designed for maintaining the interior of the storage compartment 8 at a constant temperature and humidity in cooperation with the humidifier so that objects inside the storage compartment 8 may be stored in good conditions.
