CONSTITUTION:A bumper is made up of a member having elasticity in styren foam or the like, while a detector capable of detecting an impact when the bumper comes into contact with a solid something is installed in a bumper body. This detector has an elastic material 7 absorbing the impact, and when this elastic material 7 detects the impact, an electrode works, closing a circuit, so that a warning signal display unit inside a car works as well.
