DEVICE FOR FIXING INJECTION LANCE

PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which prevents effectively generation of the resonance of a water cooled lance by the constitution consisting in grasping the periphery of the upper part side of said lance by an upper fixing device provided with free roller groups and grasping the periphery of the lower side by a lower fixing device provided with arm rods. CONSTITUTION:A device for fixing an injection lance 1 consisting of the water cooled lance 2 connected with a refractory lance 3 to the lower part thereof in a way as to prevent the oscillation thereof is constituted of the upper fixing device 4 which grasps the periphery of the upper side of the lance 2 and a lower fixing device 5 which grasps the periphery near the juncture 2a with the lance 3. Said device 4 is so constituted as to move synchronously in open and close directions two upper and lower stages of the free roller groups 6a-d, 7a-d which are attached to the side wall 8a, etc. of a pedestal 8, have rotating spiral shafts in the horizontal direction and are provided by at least two sets in the direction enclosing the lance 3. On the other hand, the device 5 is so constituted so as to grasp the lance 2 by actuating cylinders and opening and closing the top ends of a pair of arm rods 25, 25 supported pivotally to a moving seat 22 sliding on a supporting base 21.
