Powder of reductive soft metal is suck to the core wire by reduction, and die drawing is made under the state where a large quantity of metallic powder is stuck by utilizing frictional adhesion. The core wire covered with metallic powder thus obtained is further covered with a tube or tape of the same soft metal, and drawn at a desired diameter. By this method, the soft metal of thick film is stuck tightly to the core wire metal in a low working ratio, and adhesion is improved.
