AUTOMATIC CONVEYOR DEVICE FOR ROD-LIKE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To aim at completely automatizing the conveyance of heat-exchanger fin tubes with the use of a rod-like material conveyor device, by transferring the fin tubes one by one to a first working station by use of a descending slope, and then by receiving them into receptacles arranged at equal pitches. CONSTITUTION:Fin tubes P on a holding bed 11 are lifted one by a hardware 14 at each time when a cylinder 13 is raised, and are shifted onto a first inclining slope bed 12 on which the tubes P then rolls down until they abuts against a shock absorber 17 for stopping them. Thereby, the tubes are positioned at the position of an edge preparation machining device which is not shown, where the edge preparation thereof is carried out. After completion of the edge preparation the fin tubes are shifted onto a second inclined bed 16 by an air cylinder 18 through the intermediary of a receiving hardware 19, and they rolls down on the inclined bed 16. Then, the fin tubes are loaded on receptacles 22, and further shifted onto a pitch determination bed 24 for sequentially feeding them to the next working station at equal pitches. With this arrangement, the conveyance of fin tubes may be completely automatized.
