DRIVE DEVICE OF MAGNETIC DISK

PURPOSE:To ensure quality at the time of transportation by adding a transporting disk with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:A transporting disk 24 formed by synthetic resins, etc., is transported in the same condition as that where a magnetic disk 4 is mounted, namely, the magnetic disk 4 is chucked by a lower magnetic head 15 and an upper magnetic head 15 and an upper magnetic head 16. A hub mounting part 26 to be placed on a top hub 8 of a drive device 5 is formed at the center. Simultaneously the lower magnetic head 15 and a head contact part 27 for coming into contact with the upper magnetic head 16 are in the separated condition from a transporting disk 24 main body except a resin inlet 28 of synthetic resins, etc., which causes the flexibility in the peripheral direction to be better. However, these are not necessarily separated. All except the resin inlet 28 are made to a thin-walled part 29 as much as possible, and a lower gimbal 19 and an upper gimbal 20, both of which support the lower magnetic head 15 and the upper magnetic head 16 are constituted in such a way that undue force will not be applied to these gimbals.
