PICTURE CHECKING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To decide the read level of an optimum picture by knowing a ratio of white and black of a picture, in a picture reader having a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A picture read part 2 reads a test chart, etc. by some read level, and it is transferred to a memory part 3 and written in a picture area. As for the written picture data, the picture is corrected or edited by a microcomputer 1 which has received an instruction of a console part 4, and thereafter, transferred to an external storage part 5 and stored. Also, as for the picture data in the picture area, the bit contents ''1'', ''0'' of the data are counted by the microcomputer 1, and the count value is written in white and black counter areas of the memory 3, and displayed on the console part 4. In case when the test chart in which a data ratio of white and black is clear is used for the picture read part 2, whether the read level value of the read part 2 is successful or not can be confirmed by comparing the count values of the data ''1'', ''0''.
