WIRELESS SELECTIVE CALL RECEIVING SET HAVING DISPLAY FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To use effectively limited memory capacity by reading stored message and making erasing or protection while confirming erasion or protection of the message by display. CONSTITUTION:A received signal is decoded 4, and when own call number written in P-ROM6 coincides with the received signal, outputs ringing tone to a speaker 8. Succeeding message is stored in an external RAM10 through a CPU9, and at the same time, displayed in a liquid crystal display unit 12. When reading out stored message, a reset switch SW13, scroll SW14, dilate SW15 and a protect SW16 are operated in combination and erasion or protection of the message being read is displayed and confirmed, and the content of memory is erased or protected. Further, it is judged whether the erased content of memory is followed by another message or not, and if there is succeeding message, the succeeding content of memory is read out, and the information as to whether the message is erased or protected is stored continuously in an internal RAM20 or the CPU9.
