DEVELOPING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To remove and recarry a developer on a developing body excellently regardless of simple and inexpensive constitution by preventing and removing the takeout of a developer of a sleeve fitted around a magnetic roll and using a doctor with magnetism. CONSTITUTION:A doctor 58' consists of a doctor main body 58' made of a nonmagnetic material, the 1st magnetic body 58' made of a beltlike iron plate provided lengthwise, and the 2nd magnetic bodies 58' and 58' made of iron plates provided at both end parts of the doctor main body 58'. The 1st and the 2nd magnetic bodies 58'b and 58'c form lines of magnetic force before the 1st magnetic pole part 66'a when the 1st magnetic pole part 66'a faces the doctor 58' to remove a developer 56'a from the surface of the developing roll, thereby inhibiting the takeout of the developer 56'a more securely. Further, a magnetic plate 140 is provided between a developing roll 50 and a developing roll 51 to reduce the influence of the magnetic flux density and pole distribution of the other magnetic roll 64, performing excellent developer conveying operation.
