RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE OF DIGITAL PICTURE SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To facilitate to detect easily a fault of a head and also to adjust simply the circuit by dividing a screen into plural regions and using plural heads to record and reproduce a code signal corresponding to divided regions. CONSTITUTION:A television signal from an input terminal 1 is converted into a pulse code by a coding circuit 3 via a pre-processing circuit 2 such as an amplifier or the like. The code signal is changed over upward/downward in Fig. by a switch 9 at a 1/2 period of scanning lines and the switched signal is written in memories 6A, 7A, 6B and 7B via switches 8A, 8B operated in synchronizing with one scanning line. The output of the memories is applied to recording heads 1A, 1B via switches 5A, 5B and processing circuits 12A, 12B. Thus, left/right picture signals are applied two heads 1A, 1B at the same time at the scanning period of one scanning line and recorded in parallel with tracks A, B.
